Arsenal is set to begin negotiations over a new contract for Bukayo Saka. The England international has two years remaining on his current deal.
Saka has been with Arsenal since the age of seven, rising through the club’s academy and progressing through various youth levels. He made his first-team debut in the UEFA Europa League against Vorskla Poltava in November 2018. He has 250 appearances for the club.
Currently earning around £10 million per season, Saka’s contract is nearing its end, and Arsenal is keen to secure his long-term future with a significant pay rise. Clubs from Europe and the Middle East are closely monitoring the situation, as Saka is regarded as one of the best right-wingers of his generation.
Saka has been out since December due to a hamstring injury sustained in a win against Crystal Palace. However, Mikel Arteta is expected to have him back in action soon.
