Atalanta Submit €17m Bid to Southampton for Ghanaian Prodigy Kamaldeen Sulemana

Atalanta have tabled a €17 million bid for Ghanaian winger Kamaldeen Sulemana, according to reports from Fabrizio Romano.

Sulemana featured in 26 Premier League matches last season for Southampton, scoring one goal and providing one assist.

Atalanta’s new head coach, Ivan Jurić, is a big fan of Sulemana, they worked together at Southampton last season.

Sulemana is seen as a player who could add valour to Atalanta’s attack, as the club aims to challenge for a top-four finish in Serie A and a successful Coppa Italia campaign next season.

The 23-year-old is also experienced on the international stage, having represented Ghana at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, where the Black Stars were eliminated in the group stage.
