
Brentford's draw with Leciester City takes their unbeaten run at home to ten in the Premier League.

Brentford came into the game in fine form having only lost one of their last Premier League fourteen Premier League games, Brentford needed a win to climb into the UEFA EUROPA LEAGUE places. Thomas Frank lined up in a 4-3-3 formation, Spanish International David Raya was in goal, Ethan Pinnock and Ben Mee were in defence, Christian Nørgaard was in the middle of the pack and highest goal scorer Ivan Toney led the line.
Leicester City’s boss Brendan Rogers has come under criticism lately from Leicester City fans, Leicester City have only two wins from their last eleven Premier League games and was one point above the relegation zone. Brendan Rogers needed his side to pick up the three points to reduce the pressure on him. Leicester City lined up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, Daniel Iversen was in between the sticks, Harry Souttar and Daniel Amartey played in defence, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Wilfred Ndidi were in the middle of the pack and James Maddison played as a second striker behind Zambian international Patson Daka.
The officials of the game were Darren Bond, his assistants were Eddie Smart and Marc Perry, Jarred Gillett was the fourth official. In charge of VAR was Peter Bankes.
Mathias Jensen put Brentford ahead in the 32nd minute of the first half, Brentford had the majority of the ball and dominated play, Raya was free in the first half as Leicester didn’t threaten Brentford’s goal. Leicester was much better in the second half and Rogers got quite the response he wanted from his players, Harvey Barnes equalised for Leicester in the 52nd minute he was assisted by Maddison both sides tried to find the winner but weren’t able to find the winner. Brentford was reduced to ten men in the 92nd minute as Baptiste was given his marching orders for a foul on Dewsbury-Hall.
The draw saw Brentford level on point with Liverpool and Brighton, they face their European chasing contenders Brighton next after the international break. It was a disappointing result for Leicester City and the pressure mounts on Brendan Rogers, they will face relegation-threatened Crystal Palace after the international break and will need to pick up three points to keep their survival hopes alive.
