Gabi takes head coach role at Real Zaragoza till the end of the season

Former Atlético Madrid midfielder Gabriel Luis Fernández, popularly known as Gabi, has been named Real Zaragoza's new head coach until the end of the season.

Real Zaragoza currently sits 18th in the Spanish second division, battling relegation. They have won only nine of their 31 matches this season.

Gabi is Real Zaragoza's fourth managerial appointment this season. The 41-year-old previously played for the club from 2007 to 2011.
