Former Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund defender has decided to retire at the end of the season.
The 36-year-old was a key part of the squad that won the 2014 FIFA World Cup with Germany.
He won 17 trophies during his illustrious career, including six Bundesliga titles, and was a runner-up in the 2012 and 2024 Champions League finals with Dortmund.
He has scored 65 goals and provided 39 assists for club and country in 797 appearances.

He said in the video: “I’ve seen so many guys, so many coaches, who I owe a lot to. Without them, my whole career would never have got off the ground or reached this level.”
He said at the end, holding back tears: “I will miss it. I will miss it terribly.”
Hummels will go down as one of the greatest defenders to ever grace the beautiful game.
