Manchester United's two-nil win over Everton puts them 3rd and three points above fifth place Spurs

Manchester United came into this game with a good home record having won 23 of their 28 home games in all competitions this season making Old Trafford a fortress again, Manchester United were looking to defeat Everton for the third time this season Man United was the favorite coming into this game but knew they had to be at their best if they were going to get the three points against a very resolute, compact and defensive Everton side. Rashford was substituted in the 81st minute because of what looked like a groin injury, hopefully the injury is not serious.

The win took Manchester United to 3rd place three points above Newcastle and Spurs, Manchester united would welcome Sevilla to Old Trafford on Thursday and would face Nottingham Forest next in the Premier League. Everton would pick in positive from the game and would come back stronger they face Fulham next and will hope to get something out of the game.
