MANCHESTER UNITED TO PLAY BARCELONA IN UEFA EUROPA LEAGUE KNOCKOUT

Manchester United faces Barcelona in the UEFA EUROPA LEAGUE knockout, a match which involves two giants of European football, the match is the one that stands out most in the draw. The first and the second leg will take place from  16th February to 23rd  February, the first leg will take place at Spotify Camp Nou, Spain. The second leg will take place in Old Trafford, Manchester.

The two sides have met  13 times including three European finals, the Cup Winners Cup of 1991, and the Champions League final showpieces in 2009 and 2011. Barcelona has beaten Manchester United 6 times, Manchester United has won thrice and four games have been drawn.

The last time this two met was in the Champions League quarter-final, in the 2019 season. Barcelona won four goals to nil on aggregate. Players to look out for in this game are Robert Lewandowski and Cristiano Ronaldo, both players have done great things in their careers and will be hoping to progress from this stage of the competition. Cristiano has been a nightmare against Barcelona as he has scored 20 goals against them in four different competitions, Lewandowski has scored nine goals against Manchester United in his career, the two players will want to get on the score sheet.

The match will be very intriguing, entertaining, and tough, you can't easily predict a winner between these two sides and hope the best side wins.
