Marc Casadó Faces Risk of Lengthy Spell on the Sidelines Due to Knee Injury

Marc Casadó's season is likely to be over as the player has suffered a ligament injury to his right knee. Barcelona confirmed in a statement:

"Tests carried out this morning have shown that first-team player Marc Casadó has a ligament injury to his right knee. Further tests are pending to determine the exact extent of the injury and subsequent treatment."

Iñigo Martínez will also be sidelined for a long period due to a muscle injury. He is likely to be out until the end of March, with Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano confirming that he might miss around two to three weeks.

Barça released an official statement on the 33-year-old, which read:

"Tests carried out this morning have confirmed that Iñigo Martínez has internal parameniscitis in his right knee. He will undergo treatment in Barcelona under the supervision of the club's medical services."

Both players suffered their injuries during Barça's mouth watering clash against Atlético Madrid.
