Marco Rose Relieved of His Duties as RB Leipzig Manager, Zsolt Löw Appointed Interim Coach

RB Leipzig has parted ways with men’s first-team head coach Marco Rose. Rose left Leipzig sixth in the Bundesliga table.

Leipzig won only three of their last eleven games under Rose. The club also had a poor run in the UEFA Champions League, as they were knocked out in the competition’s group stage.

Leipzig confirmed his sacking in a statement, stating, “Marco Rose has been relieved of his duties as RB Leipzig head coach with immediate effect.”

Zsolt Löw has been appointed as Leipzig’s interim boss until the end of the season. The Hungarian previously worked as Thomas Tuchel’s assistant manager at Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich, and Chelsea.
