Marco Silva’s press conference ahead of Fulham’s match against Manchester United.

Marco Silva held a press conference ahead of Fulham's match against Manchester United. Fulham, currently 12th in the Premier League and nine points above the relegation zone, has garnered five points in their last five matches. They face Manchester United away from home tomorrow at 3:00 PM UK time.

When asked about Armando Broja not playing, Marco Silva stated, "About my selection, I am going to decide what's best for the team. Regarding Broja, the players have ambitions, and when we sign a player like Broja, we expect him to be very important in our squad. If not, we will not convince him to come here. We believe he is the right guy for us."

A journalist mentioned the absence of João Palhinha for two games and commented, "You can't be angry with him; that's part of his game." Marco Silva responded, "It's always something you can improve, but at the same time, we are working with him to have the right balance in both situations. He is a really important piece in our team. Of course, you don't want to take away from João how good he plays and covers all that area of the pitch. In some moments, we have to stop them, and most of the time he can do it. Other times, he has to be careful instead of trying to react."

Regarding Tony Khan's statement about a potential sale of a player, Marco Silva said, "He is the vice-chairman of the club, and he spoke on behalf of the club. I don't have any comment to make on it."

Addressing defensive errors against Aston Villa, Marco Silva explained, "Not that we spend more time. We are going to prepare the players for the next game, and we spoke to the players on what we should do to be more solid and compact. When I am talking about being more solid and compact, I'm not just talking about the backline. But, in some moments, you have to be strong in a challenge. Being more solid is important for us, and we are working with the players to make them understand because we know we are capable of creating chances and scoring important goals."

On Rodrigo Muniz's form, Silva noted, "Firstly, it's about his quality. He is still really young, 22 years of age. He came from Brazil at a young age and hasn't played many games. He wasn't a starting player in Brazil. He came to us for development, to work with him and develop him. The idea was to have him play behind Mitrovic, who was a starting striker at that period."

Regarding Calvin Bassey and Alex Iwobi, Silva mentioned, "They needed time to breathe a little bit. They both played 45 minutes against Aston Villa, and now they are more than ready to start."

When asked about Manchester United's current form, Silva commented, "They're more confident. When you achieve good results, you are more confident. Look at them; they are achieving so many good results, both home and away. They have top players who can decide the game at any moment. It's going to be really challenging for us, but we have to go, give them a really competitive game, and fight for the three points."

Marco Silva understands the importance of a win against Manchester United for his side's confidence moving forward.
