PORTUGAL TRASH SWITZERLAND TO QUALIFY FOR ROUND OF 16

The match took place in Lusail Stadium, the referee incharge of the match was Mexican referee Cesar Ramos.

The second half was more disappointing for Switzerland, Ramos scored a brace in the 51st minute to give Portugal a third, four minutes later Guerreiro scored to make matters worse for Switzerland, Akanji pulled one back for Switzerland in the 58th minute through a corner, Ramos got his hat-trick in 67th Minute, it was a dream debut for the Gonçalo Ramos in the World Cup, Ronaldo was brought into the game in the 73rd minute of the game. Rafael Leão compounded Switzerland misery in the 92nd Minute.

Portugal are only the second team in the 21st Century after Brazil to score six goals and above in a World Cup group stage match. Gonçalo Ramos was the man of the match, he was all over the Swizzs defence, Switzerland were very poor defensively. Portugal will face Morocco in the Quarter Final.
