Football icon Cristiano Ronaldo has been honoured by Guinness World Records for achieving the most wins in international football (132). The Portugal captain secured the record after his nation’s 5-1 victory over Poland, in which he scored a brace.

Ronaldo surpassed Sergio Ramos’ record of 131 wins with Spain. He received the award before kickoff in Portugal’s clash against Denmark. A match in which the 40 year old found the net in a 5-2 victory, helping his team advance to the UEFA Nations League semi-finals.
