Tielemans sends a farewell message to Leicester City's fans after leaving the club as a free agent

Youri Tielemans leaves Leicester City after four and a half years he leaves the club as a free agent with many clubs interested in his services. Tielemans was part of Leicester City’s FA Cup and FA Community Shield triumph in 2021, he was also part of the side that helped Leicester City reach their first-ever European Semi-Final.

He says goodbye after a remarkable four and a half years, this was his farewell message “Dear Leicester City fans, after four-and-a-half special years and with a lot of gratitude I am bidding farewell to this incredible club.

“From the first day I set foot on this ground your warmth and passion embraced me.

“Victory and triumph, love, hope and even defeat. We have shared many special moments.

“I am forever grateful for your unwavering support.

“Thank you to Khun Top (chairman), the board, the staff, the players and fans for having given me and my family a home.

“This is not a goodbye but a heartfelt farewell.

“With pride, love and eternal gratitude. Youri Tielemans.”
